I put every number over 100 in green, it's not a threshold. just a guide line. But I think 100 is a correct number to ask for our members. It's just a little over 1 connection a day.

From pirates of the caribbean, when Barbossa tells Swann that the pirate code is more guidelines than actual rules. I was trying to play off of what you were saying as it was more of a suggestion. I guess I didn't make the message clear enough. Sad

Coooool. I banked a lot of time in finals week, so I guess my complete inactivity for a week didn't hurt me. I am still over 100. I doubt it'll be that way, since I have the next 3 weeks with virtually no internet.

So who are we removing and are we gonna recruit more?

After all we are doing well still as a Faction but if pur activity level doesnt grow soon we will hit the wall with how far we can go and start sliding back.

Yes, there will be members that will be removed with in at least a seven days time, than with the open slots we can recruit more. This, however, is normally a topic that is discussed in the officer's forum, and not the other forums.

The only thing holding back this beautiful faction is the activity bar. So, some changes are in order. The activity topic is awesome by the way.

I agree that we should allow some kind of "immunity" to 2000+ players.

(And I'm not saying that because I'm one of those :3)

I just hope that you guys won't boot me too easily What a Face .

I think it's pretty safe to say that if you make a place for yourself in the faction, you've got nothing to worry about.

agreed I mean there is a difference between having a life and getting on once a night for a little bit and being a member who joins and almost never does anything as apart of the faction. I mean to me it seems as long as your earning about 50LP in a week your at leasting trying to do your part. That is getting 10 wins in a war every night for 5 nights minimum. That maybe a half hour or so of fighting depending on the war.

The read areas in the graph shows the members that have not made over 50 LP in two weeks. It gives a clear indication on who hasn't been playing at all.

yes I really think after 3 weeks of unactivity (less that 50 LP or little higher) and no notification, that could be a threshold.

Should activity discussion be discussed elsewhere? I understand that this is the primary source for discussing activity level, but it seems like it is off-topic.

My suggestion is this: Try and keep this thread as mostly charts, so it is a good source of reference, and sticky it. Open up a public-forum thread (for non-officers and officers alike) for discussion on activity level, removal from the guild, interpenetration of activity level, etc. It just seems like it'd be a little cleaner, to me anyway.

EDIT: For the discussion at hand, I think it should be noted that this is simply how much loyalty people earn. I have seen some lower-level guild members going 2/15 in a war. This shows they are still active, just aren't doing well, and I'd rather try and help them than boot them from the guild. This chart shouldn't be the sole reason for booting someone from the guild, but gives us a lot of useful information (probably the most useful piece of information we have) to make assessments. I just want to make sure that the limitations of pure loyalty analysis are being taken into account.

Very good concern. We don't use the chart as a list of people to boot. Rather, it is merely an indicator of where we might want to look first if we need to. With a basic list of names of people who haven't been doing well, we can start to investigate why.

The issue with members that are trying and just not doing is that we do not know that this is the case. A failure to communicate if you would. I know snapfoo often posts how well he is doing in various matches. And I personally have had difficulty surging, only winning 25% of my surges, so I am back to doing regular fights. But if the other members that are not doing well do not post it on the forums or mention it in the chat, than the officers will never. I know when PunYah was first up for consideration to be booted, I message him/her of this. I never got a message back, but than I saw him/her pop once or twice in the chat just saying hi and giving an effort in the faction war, a bad effort but an effort never the less. And that is all I would like to from our member is to put in some effort into the faction. I don't care if we win or lose, just as long as we try, I will be happy. But if I can't see members trying, than the obvious move would be to have a new member come in there place who will try. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my rant.

I'm constantly amazed that despite all my efforts, I'm still way behind the most active players.
(Still inn the top 3 so yay).

And of course, firing members without warning and without trying would be...well mean.
    And counter productive.
It's a carefree faction right Very Happy?

So let's keep it this way. This chart is still a precious tool. Cheers to their creators.

I've been on a crazy rant-ridden spree it seems, so I have no qualms with rants Smile .

Sure is. I am fine with the way things are now. I guess I just think that these kinds of things should be discussed openly. The chart has been the biggest reason I visit the forums. Let's hope it stays around.
