I am in New Hampshire for a month, and the internet is horrible here. I have access to the internet though the public library, but I plan on being less active because of it. Hopefully it will only be for winter break, and when I get back to school, I'll be able to maintain activity. I just figured I should let people know.

yes new hampshire is beautiful love it, Vermont too by the way. And at this moment it's not too cold (something rare). Don't worry for your activity, but give us some news time to time it's always great to know how you are.

New Hamphire. Sounds peaceful.
For some reason, I am thinking of forests and nature now.... and I like hiking during the spring/summer. Take me with you.

New Hampshire is good for that. It has plenty of urban area, but not huge city-life. We get nature-lovers and tax-evaders around these parts. Fun fact about New Hampshire: It's about 97% white Caucasian population, or at least it was about 10 years ago. I don't think it's changed.

Re: Another stint of inactivity
hmmm... New Hamphire sure does sound predominantly Caucasian for some reason. But I guess only a few cities in North America are very multicultural (in Canada, Vancouver and Toronto are both very diverse).
My recently ex-girlfriend did her Masters degree in a predominantly Caucasian environment in the USA. She said she was hit on a lot by white guys, and the few asian guys that were there seemed to shy away from that. Oh, despite my username, I'm asian... I just tried to pick a generic username. lol.
Also, my friend (who's asian) went on a Eurotrip a couple years ago. He said he somehow ended up in a small European town where the children never seen a asian before. They were very curious about him, thought he was an alien. I wonder if I'd get the same reaction in New Hamphire

Re: Another stint of inactivity
I would say every major city in Canada are multi-cultural, for sure yes Vancouver (look like Hong Kong at some place) and Toronto. But Montréal is really open on the world. Even here (Calgary) at some place you could thing you are in a other country.
At some place european are really close and I already hear the same kind of story about asian. I don't know why if fact because european's country are so close to each others. It's really usuale there to speak 2, 3, or even more languages.
Just stay open to the diversity it's the best thing ever

Re: Another stint of inactivity
Should come to California. We have a huge variety of cultures here. Which is great, that means there is a diverse choice of food here. Plus the weather here is great. It has been two weeks since I have last worn a jacket
On the note of people going to other countries. In my high school freshman's social studies class, we watched a quick video on when American soldier first went into Japan during WWII, and everyone was amazed when they saw people with diffent hair colors. I guess I am spoiled growing up in California, since I get a chance to see a lot of different people. Staying on a semi related note, you know how there is that joke that all asian people look alike. Well two weeks ago, I was at a friends house (he's asian), and his mom told me that she cannot tell the different between me and another one of my friends. And I was at a lose of words on how to tell us apart. We both are tall, fat and hairy. Lucky my friends brother-in-law saved the day and said he is the one with a beer in his hand. I don't drink, and my friend needs to learn not drink. To end my rant, the more different we are, the more we are the same.
