Well, I am rather bad at making defense decks, but...
Good cards to consider:
Dracorex's Weaken All 1... very important if you can get him.
Dalila's Weaken 2 is good too. More situnational though.
Atla's Strike 1 is the next best option.
If you don't have ANY of the above Vik's Counter 1 will do...
Creatures...
Mind Controller is annoying to play against with Counter !3!.
Sand Crawler (Terrible 4 wait) has weaken all 1 and counter 2.
And the King of Counter and Regenerate, Dozer Tank.
Trident's Counter 2 and Immobilize works decently well too.
Apollo is amazing with healing...and overall a great card.
Posidon is decent with healing and Siege and Antiair are important.
Stealthy Niaq is good, does reliable damage and Jam is nice.
Structures..
Command Center (Something like that. Raider thing) Counter 1 is decent.
Blood Wall's Weaken all 1 is nice if it activates.
Missle Silo has Strike 4, enough to take out major threats.
Tesla Cannon has strike and Jam. It is also a wall.
Earthquake Generator has Siege All 1 and Strike All 1, both great.
And I perfer not to use Actions, because of AI's stupidity, but..
EMP has it's famous strike all 2.
Airstrike can take a major threat out with strike 4.
Plasma Field has Weaken All 1, Protect All 1, AND Heal All 1. Makes you almost immune for a turn.
That should be a decent list... but there are many I missed, I am sure.
